Dreams Take Flight

I’m sitting here in Colorado, attempting to do homework, watching the snow flurries outside. As I type away at this post, Christmas music plays on my Pandora. I’m blessed. The Lord is so good. Although I’ve managed to stay afloat thus far in the semester, this retreat is a breath of fresh air to my drowning soul. God is moving. His Spirit is tangible  here and the services have instigated opportunities for healing. Healing of the soul and Spirit.

Healing of the Spirit has been accompanied with bodily healing ever night in the outdoor hot tub. Reconnecting with friends, cuddling by the dwindling fire. I love Ski Retreat. The gusts of snow flurries remind me of the storm awaiting me at Evangel but the fireplace encourages rest and renewal. When the break comes to an end, I’ll be ready to start again.
